Against a backdrop of helping Barclays navigate from print-led to award-winning online reporting, our challenge this year was to address stakeholders’ key issues: banks’ role in society, reward and pay, managing the business and CEO succession.
We worked closely with Barclays to re-structure how the story was told including greater weighting to their broader citizenship role. We also advised on the implementation of a new production technology allowing greater efficiencies and cost savings.
Leading with the line “Delivering on our promises”, this year’s reporting is a clear statement of intention from one of the world’s leading financial services business.
Our design approach was to support key messaging with a simple ‘less is more’ design scheme. Cover photography features the Barclays Cycle Hire scheme, launched in 2010.
