Further has designed and produced The Co-operative Group’s latest Annual Report. The book tells the story of The Co-operative Group in what has been a year of record sales and profits. Major developments include the Food business joining forces with Somerfield and the Financial Services business merging with Britannia.
The centrepiece of the report is an extended illustration which showcases the breadth and depth of the Group’s services and products throughout the UK - from farms to financial services, and from food to funerals. The single illustration, based on original photography, runs across more than seven double-page spreads, three meters in length, making it one of the largest single illustrations ever used in a UK Annual Report.
As well as designing and producing the Annual Report and Accounts, Further has produced eight associated regional reports.
Peter Wild, The Co-operative Group’s Communications Manager said: “The finished report is a superb example of the value that can be added by an agency such as Further, at the top of their game and leading the way in the production of financial reports.”
Further’s Creative Director, James Beveridge said: “This is a great example of where a deep understanding of the business, coupled with creativity can result in a highly original and engaging piece of corporate communications”.
