The Co-operative Group is one of Britain’s most significant organisations. And 2009 was a year of exciting developments including the Food business joining forces with Somerfield and the Financial Services business merging with Britannia. Further was tasked with telling the story of the Co-operative Group in what has been a year of record sales and profits. And in particular the impressive breadth and depth of consumer offer. The centrepiece of the Report is a three metre long illustration which showcases the breadth and depth of the Group’s services and products - from farms to financial services, and from food to funerals. Making it one of the largest single illustrations used in a UK Annual Report.
